Money Vs Currency

Dollar vs Pound(or whatever U.K. ppl use)

So, who knows the comaprison between Dollars and Notes/Pounds(I’m not sure which one it is they use. My bad). Like is their money like… the exact same value as ours or more or less or what? I’m curious as a cat. That’s why my friends call me whiskers. Also any other currency value comparisons that you may be informed about
And what’s the name of U.K. money and stuff? Who uses Euros and pounds and notes? Thanx

You get, roughly $2 to the Pound (£) at the moment.

Very few places in the UK will accept Euros.

In the UK we have

Copper coins to the value of 1p ( p=Pence) and 2p
Silver coloured coins to the value of 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p. In England we now use a coin for the £1. It’s a pale gold colour. We also have a £2 coin, same colour but larger and a ( rarer ) £5 coin.

Notes to the value of £5, £10, £20 and £50…
I’m sorry Col..but I don’t think the £100 note ever went into production. There used to be a £100 note many, many years ago…but not now.
Scotland still uses the £1 note and you can still accept them here in England. Anyone refusing Scotish notes (shops etc) are breakng the law as they are legal tender here too. As long as the note has ‘Stirling’ written on it it’s legal tender.
